NexGen Ceiling Tile

NexGen Ceiling Tile was developed by our team at the request of a leading UK University for deployment into a suspended ceiling grid system for use within the NHS and building offices. The brief was to integrate our nanotechnology into a 600mm x 600mm ceiling tile with a maximum temperature of 45° to avoid the ‘hot head’ syndrome, commonly associated with overhead radiant heating panels.

The 150w FAR infrared ceiling tile has an integrated thermostat together with a plug & play system to connect individual tiles (maximum of 18) to a single 13amp socket, negating the use of transformers within the suspended grid system. Operating at lower surface temperatures allows the heat to be evenly spread across the area and maximise the benefits of FAR infrared for both the building and the occupants.
